Ayden's Ancestral African American Cemetery is the final resting place to more than 400 Black men, women, children, and veterans. The cemetery is loacted off Old NC-11 in Ayden, NC. Little is known about the cemetery or the people who live in it. There are only 75 legible headstone, with Ackann W. King being the last person buried in 1961.
