Военных франтов, дипломатов,

И гордых дам она скользит;

Вот села тихо и глядит,

Любуясь шумной теснотою,

Мельканьем платьев и речей,

Явленьем медленным гостей

Перед хозяйкой молодою» (8, VI, 187).
