Brody Medical Sciences Building
The Brody Medical Sciences Building was completed in 1982 to centralize East Carolina University’s medical education, research, and clinical training under one roof. It was named in honor of the Brody family. It was designed by Hook & Rogers from Charlotte, NC. The William E. Laupus Health Sciences Library and clinics are located on the ground floor, while the upper levels house specialized spaces such as a vibration-isolated floor for electron microscopy and a gross anatomy lab.
