Main Campus Student Center

The Main Campus Student Center opened in 2019 with great fanfare. The facility is sustainably designed (Sustainability Plan, 2018). Inside, it houses six popular dining venues, the Dowdy Student Store, a 14,000-square-foot ballroom, and the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center and Ledonia Wright Cultural Center. It was designed by the Perkins+Will business. Its modern engineering features electrochromatic windows, radiant heating, and rainwater reuse systems. (Main Campus Student Center, 2025)
