A.J. Fletcher Music Center
The A. J. Fletcher Music Center was built in 1966 and serves as the primary facility for ECU’s School of Music. It was named for philanthropist and arts advocate A. J. Fletcher. The building was designed by A.G. Odell Jr. & Associates. A major upgrade in 1998 renovated the Recital Hall with improved acoustics, updated lighting, and better backstage amenities for performers.
