Next, ECU history professor Bodo Nischan gives a lecture titled "The age of enlightenment," providing an overview of the artistic and political environment of Beethoven's early career, followed by performances of Beethoven's Cello sonatas No. 1 in F Major, and No. 2 in G Minor.
