Title: Oppression
Description: Our assignment was to imitate a famous work of art or photograph. The painting that I picked was by Alfred Conteh, the name of this painting is called Two Fonts and it is to convey the warlike atmosphere under which black men, women, and children exist. I felt I could relate more to the individual in this painting. This was created as an assignment for ART 1910 instructed by Susan Luddeke. The Getty Museum of Art created the Getty Museum Challenge as a way to keep people engaged during the pandemic.
