Title: Evi's vigil
Description: In December of 2020, about nine months into the pandemic, my cat Evi suddenly became very sick. She refused to eat, and when tried to entice, she would become sick. Upon taking her to the vet, they informed me that her liver was failing, and they couldn't give an answer as to why. We attempted treatment, but it only made her suffer. After a few weeks, I had to make the hardest decision of my life, and she was put down. I had her cremated, and she was placed in a beautifully made wooden box. I still have the vigil in my living room. I can't stomach to move it yet.
