My brother Michael graduated in 2020. When we found out the in-person ceremony was canceled, my mom and I planned a backyard graduation for him. This allowed us to celebrate together, but still socially distance from our parents since Michael and I no longer live with them. Michael and his fiancé were roommates with my husband and I prior to and throughout the pandemic's initial wave.
In order to contribute, you must read and agree to the terms and conditions. I am submitting a digital file related to my COVID-19 related experiences on my own behalf. I grant East Carolina University Academic Library Services permission to include my submission in a publicly available online collection. I understand that my submission shall be made available to the public for original research, subject to no limitations or qualifications.
